• New Independent Cone Mechanism insuring that each cone fits precisely the tip it is inserted to. Consequently, it minimises pipetting and blowout forces, but, most importantly, significantly reduces tip sealing and ejection force.
  

When pressing the multi-channel against a rack, the latter always bends. With standard multi-channels, the cones stay aligned. This prevents the cones from entering the tips correctly and obliges the user to force the multi-channel.	The new TIPOR-M+ features cones which are independent and each enters and sills easily its facing tip. Forces used are considerably lowered and safety is significantly increased.

*Calibration of pipettors means determining the difference between the dispensed volume and the selected volume. Adjustment means altering the pipettor so that the dispensed volume is within the specifications. Usually the word calibration is understood as adjusting the pipettor, and therefore, calibration, as used in this text, means testing and adjusting.
